About Us
We’re Shellaxy.
Sound at the Core. A Galaxy of Forms.
Shellaxy comes from two ideas: Shell + Galaxy. The shell is everything you see—the form, the character, the personality. At the center is something we take seriously: sound.
The galaxy is what comes next. Different characters, designs, and worlds, all built around the belief that great audio doesn’t have to live inside another ordinary box.
Why Should a Speaker Look Like a Speaker?
Our team comes from backgrounds in audio product development, industrial design, and consumer electronics. We understand what goes into a speaker, from acoustic design and internal structure to materials, engineering, manufacturing, and the final listening experience.
That experience led us to a question: why do speakers all have to look like speakers?
We believe audio products can bring personality to a desk, a shelf, or a room. They can be something you want to look at, use every day, and collect. Shellaxy brings together two worlds we care about: serious audio and collectible design.
More Than a Cool Shell
We love creating characters. But the character is only half the product. Under every Shellaxy design is an audio product engineered to be used and enjoyed.
We care about how the speaker, acoustic chamber, structure, materials, and electronics work together just as much as the character you see.
We never wanted to make a collectible that happens to play music. We want to make a great speaker you also want to keep on your desk, display in your space, and collect.
The shell can change. The commitment to sound doesn’t.
It Starts with OLLIE.
OLLIE is the first character in the Shellaxy universe. From the beginning, OLLIE wasn’t a toy shell wrapped around an existing speaker. The character, structure, audio system, materials, and interaction were developed together as one product.
And OLLIE is only the beginning. We’re already imagining new characters, forms, and series—from mechanical and futuristic to retro, playful, and unexpected.
Each may look completely different. Underneath, they’ll share the same Shellaxy DNA: thoughtful design, serious engineering, and sound at the core.
We’re Building a Universe.
Shellaxy was never meant to be one speaker. Our vision is a growing universe of audio products, where a strong technological core can evolve into different shells, characters, and collections.
Over time, those characters will develop their own personalities, stories, and worlds. Different on the outside. Connected at the core.
Sound at the Core.
Character on the Outside.
A Galaxy of Forms.
This is Shellaxy. And our universe is just getting started.
